This soft loan scheme is to provide financing support for SMEs in the manufacturing, services and ICT sector.

Its objectives are:

• To create alternative loan facility for Bumiputera entrepreneurs;
• To encourage Bumiputera entrepreneurial participation and develop Small and Medium Enterprises particularly in Sarawak

The loan is for the following aspects:

• Working capital
• Purchase of new equipment or machineries
  
• Renovation of Premise
  

Some features of this Program are:

• The loan range is RM20,000 to RM250,000
• Services charges 4% per annum
  
• Loan repayment period is from 3 to 7 years

Application requirements:

• Applicants must be Bumiputera SMEs who originates from and resides in Sarawak
• Small and Medium Entrepreneurs in the manufactirung, services and information technology sector
• Business have been registered and operate for at least 1 year on valid premise
• Applicant must engaged in the business on a full-time basis

Applications can be made via Skim Pinjaman Industri dan Sederhana (SPIKS) Form which are available at the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC)'s main office or from the nearest SEDC's Regional Office
